Caroline and Andrew

Caroline Williams and Andrew Branch met in August 2023 on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., interning for Senator Ted Cruz. Upon meeting, the first thing Andrew said to Caroline was, "so are you engaged? or is that a promise ring?" as he pointed to a ring on Caroline's hand. Little did they know, their time in D.C. together would spur a friendship that would be the very foundation for their relationship.

After the internship, Caroline returned to Baylor while Andrew stayed in D.C. In the summer, paths crossed, allowing Caroline and Andrew to catch up before Caroline returned to Baylor for her Senior Year. Coincidentally... Andrew was also going to Baylor, but for his first year of Law School. While plans changed, the Lord was slowly bringing them together. Andrew asked Caroline to the Marine Corps' 249th Ball in College Station, TX, and that was their beginning. While Andrew is committed to the military, Caroline is in D.C., but the Lord has not stopped providing goodness and His faithfulness.

The Lord's faithful hand has been evident throughout the love story of Caroline and Andrew. What began as colleagues working next to one another grew into a friendship across the country. Ultimately, paths aligned, and the Lord's loving plan was revealed. We are grateful for the Lord’s steady kindness that guided each step, bringing us to one another.
